UA is super cliquey, it honestly feels like middle school. if you can pull a lindsey lohan and fake your way into the plastics then you'll be fine and probably make true friends in a sorority. in my opinion theta and pi phi are the nicest girls and no I'm not in either of those houses.

if you have the money to rush, do it. take everything you read on here with a grain of salt too. you might hate the 2 houses I mentioned above. Keep an open mind and you'll hopefully find girls you clique with.

if you're not gonna rush, get to know your roommates ahead of time. pay the housing deposit early so you can pick your dorm. join facebook pages to find roommates you think you'll click with. if you're not rushing, roommates are like your only other way to make friends. your not gonna make friends with any of your classmates, you probably won't even talk to anyone in your classes.

if you're not 100% set on UA, I honestly wouldn't recommend it judging by your post. girls here are so full of themselves its ridiculous

Honestly, stay away from the "top" houses.
