Sigma Tau will move in when sigep is out

It is not IFC who regulates the house selection but a special committee led by the board of trustees and the office of Fraternity and Sorority Life. They have yet to release which bid for SigEps old house the university is accepting. 5 different fraternities all placed bids and were accepted for review. Historically, the university grants it to the oldest house without any academic or social probations (which would be Theta Tau) but the committee said they will not be held by tradition. The house was valued at $1.2 million which is what each bid was for and estimated repairs and updates are between $15 and $20 thousand dollars which will need to be completed before anyone can occupy the house. This sets back move in plans until Spring 2019. Once the committee decides you won’t need to ask, the news will be everywhere.
