by: UA22I'm coming to Alabama next year and I'm going to rush. I know this is a dumb question probably but should I pay attention to anything on this site? Like which houses are top, reputations, etc? I don't know much about the sororities at Alabama so I kind of want to get a feel for them before I come but idk if I should listen to some stuff on here.

This is only true and important if you are in state and planning on staying instate forever. Coming from a place where you don't know much about Alabama sororities you need to absolutely ignore the bs rankings on this site. No matter how amazing you are, odds are against you getting into any house that Alabama girls feel are better. Don't believe anything about the bottom houses being anything less. This is put out there by Alabama girls desperate to stay relevant in a changing world.
Don't worry, there are great houses with fun, smart, successful, and thriving girls that are ready to welcome others who share those characteristics. According to this site it would likely put you in a bottom house. My roommate went to one of those houses and is beautiful, fun, and having a great time. Her only flaw was her home state. pay attention to the posts that talk about slacker houses where the girls don't do anything and the posts about girls gone wild types of reputations, those things will spread to everyone in the house. If I were doing it all again I would also pay attention to the talk about out of state filler girls who are treated like second class sisters in some of the top ranked houses. All true.

If think it's interesting that if you go here you would know that most of the ranks on here hae nothing to do with reality as far as the middle and bottom tiers go. I can almost tell who's on here by how high some houses are ranked. And I can tell that some girls are never on here because their houses linger at the bottom although their houses have really risen.
