why’s it bad to be oos for sorority recruitment?

It’s not “bad”, it’s that in state girls have more connections and end up going to the same houses and out of state girls that aren’t known to those houses usually don’t end up in them because they are not on the houses radar, so oos girls go to houses where they don’t rely on connections as much

I actually think it is a positive. You are coming in with no preconceived notions of your past. They are judging you based on your social resume, grades and how you present yourself, not who you pissed off in 2nd grade, etc.
