Are your legacy connections involved in their alumnae organizations? Are they members of sororities that have chapters at UA? Some sororities value legacy connections very seriously ( think Kappa) versus others ( think Tri-Delt).

I wouldn't say that DDD doesn't value legacy connections more or less than most old row sororities, but they do seem to have a weirdly high amount of legacies going through recruitment every year. If you aren't an in-house legacy then no old row house is really going to take that into consideration, including Kappa.
