KA took a hit a few years ago at UT when they got suspended. They functioned as a local from 2011-2014 called themselves Omicron.
They have been working their way back up since 2014 but they aren't top tier yet. Top UT groups are Fiji , SAE and maybe Sig Ep and Kappa Sig.
KA is top/middle with Delt and Sigma Chi.

KA is one of 2 top fraternities at Texas A&M but not as good as Fiji.
UT - Austin's top are Fiji and SAE. Sig Ep and ZBT a little under that and Kappa Sig under that. Then KA, Delt, and Sigma Chi. Not top but still respectable. They're doing okay for being recently recolonized.

Kappa sig is not too at UT. KA is better than kappa sig.
