You're saying it's "obvious" as if it's a matter of fact that KD is 100% innocent when YOU don't even know the story either unless you are in KD. And even if you were a KD you wouldn't openly admit your sorority hazes, and you would try everything you can to say it's not true. It's easy to see why it hasn't blown up because KD wants it to be a secret and it's a huge liability for the school and KD nationals. The chapter is also the oldest on campus so people are more inclined to preserve it.

I can believe the girl dropped out of humiliation, but the mom was very specific about the things that happened. What reason would the girl or mom have to lie or exaggerate? If she just wanted to pledge somewhere else, why didn't she just drop or contact panhellenic? Your story just seems like a stretch.

The fact is, if actual hazing occurred, the school would have done something about it. KD or not, they aren't letting them get by with hazing without SOMETHING happening. NOTHING HAPPENED.

If the mom was still so concerned, now that her daughter is no longer a KD, she has EVERY reason to go to the press and make a bigger deal out of it. She didn't. Why? Because there was obviously a misunderstanding. Face it, your exaggerated story didn't pan out. You threw an absolute hissy fit about one post on a Facebook page that you had no other details on, and it turned out to be nothing.

You are correct that I don't know what made the mom post that, but I do know how things work at my school, and I know that there isn't some big conspiracy or cover up. It's a non-story. I also don't post ever and over again all day about it, because I'm not obsessed with KD like you are.

I actually go to UA, and I'm in a sorority. I'm fully aware that KD, like every other sorority (including my own) at this school, has issues. You are not one of them, nor is the story you've built up in your head.
