what makes every sorority want a pnm?

Money, who they know/popularity mostly. For like 2-3 houses here looks are very important. People will say that personality and whatnot matters, but I'd argue that those help pnms who don't have a reputation and are on the cusp of being cut. Having a high gpa isn't a big deal since most pnms were academically competent in high school... being in extracurriculars, again, help with pnms who don't have any roots. You'll soon realize that the majority of the pnms are pretty much the same in terms of grades, involvement, and looks, so, in the end, it's just easier to pick friends of friends or girls with history and money when all else are equal.

Like I said, pnms here are equal in terms of looks, involvement, grades, etc. there are not many houses here known for recruiting the best looking pnms. I can name only three where it is obvious that looks play are a bigger factor compared to other houses.
