I'm literally in a house that everyone is saying had a bad year lmfao but okay continue to act like GPB didnt go above and beyond this year.... when i rushed girls would rather be GDI than GPB and now they are doing so much better. i didn't say they were top tier, i said they were surprisingly good.

Wait, that girl in the midwest who promised she'd go to prom with a mentally disabled kid and then later bailed - did she decide to go here after all? I thought everyone was talking about her in our GroupMes and said she decided to go elsewhere for college.

PM didn't get any of my houses top girls, so think you're generalizing quite a bit there.

They got a good class, but it wasn't like they took ALL of the top girls.

Why do you think PM's class is so great? I'm in a top house, but we go after different types of girls than they do. So to say they took all of the top girls?? They didn't get hardly any of ours.

I mean from what I've seen and heard from my DZ friends, they always have a handful of girls drop just based on reputation. It sucks but it happens. Obviously it's clear that they're strategy was to form a smaller PC made up of a certain "type" of girl... But that's hard when their top girls drop/don't show up on bid day. So I mean I get where they're going but a smaller PC right now will only hurt them...

Damned if they do damned if they don't! If DZ had taken more PNMs just to make quota, we all know those extra girls would have been grade risks with QRs and probably not the best looking. The bullies would have been out in full force criticizing their PC if that had happened. Instead they took less girls keeping quality in mind and they still get criticized. (Eye Roll)

I don't think anyone besides KD can speak to how many pledges have dropped, if any, and that all happened AFTER bid day which is why it's not factoring into a discussion about who everyone took ON bid day.

Jealous aren't you??? Regardless of your pettiness, it's possible for others who love their houses to notice when another house does well. I know it must make you sick, but PM, DDD, and GPB did very well for themselves this year. Congratulations to them and bless your heart to you.

Did gphi do better than Adpi. And dg? Serious question. If so major development--and a major surprise. Did not realize they were getting such a return rate

in my opinion I think gphi did better then dg this year but it was close so it might just depend on what you think of as better. I think adpi still had them beat but it was definitely closer then it has been in years past

This is interesting. In my house we had girls kind of categorized depending on how bad we wanted them. When I look at the bid list I think that G Phi did get girls we rated higher than DG for sure and maybe even ADP. Sometimes you can't tell just by looking at a picture but I remember the names and was kind of surprised. So I say good for them.

Their strategy was to try to get some better looking girls which they did. I'd say they did better than DZ and AOP but GPB and DG did better than Theta. Just my take on it.

There was a lot of positive tent talk about Theta... which was different from past years. Looks like they really did better than some expected.

I agree with above as well. I have not met one person who liked theta during recruitment and i don't know where the "positive tent talk" is coming from

I think it's coming from Theta and Theta alums. I guess they think greekrank really does influence people so they're going to give it a try. But the truth is that Theta did worse this year than usual, not better.
