kd - the reality

Not only has like one or two people tried to make this KD thing a much bigger story than it appears to be, they've been adding to it and changing it to suite their needs.
1. None of us know what really happened, if anything. I believe someone posted the message, but how much of that was even true remains to be seen.
2. There were NEVER news trucks in front of KD. That was a flat out lie. If there is a story here, some press would have already jumped on it.
3. Everyone keeps blaming Moms on here (or claiming to BE moms on here, but I highly doubt there are that many Moms snooping around this place. It's more likely some sad and lonely individual with an axe to grind. If a real Mom had genuine concerns about this, they'd be taking it up with people who really matter, not Greek Rank, which doesn't matter in the slightest.
4. Nothing has happened so far. Life is going on as normal and if this was a real thing, believe me, people (other than a few sad little individuals on this site) would have real information and it would be out there on other sites.
5. No KD is coming here to talk about what happened. No KD is telling their best friend's roommate's sister what happened or didn't happen. They just aren't, and anyone who believes a "I'm a KD and Blah......." post on anonymous site is a moron.

6. If all of this happens to be real, and if what all the anonymous postings are saying is real, UA will have no choice but to deal with it, just like they have with the fraternities. However, e-mails from people who read Greek Rank and have opinions aren't going to do one single thing to affect it. Unless you are a KD, a KD Alumnae, the parent of a KD, a KD NM who witnessed what happened, you can affect NOTHING.
7. If you pay attention, the story is already changing again. Subtle comments about how KD might get away with it, how their alum/lawyers might get them out of it and sweep it under the rug, how those horrible KD’s might slink away with no punishment at all. Why? Because the idiots here, leading a charge that they know NOTHING about, are preparing for the moment when people realize that NOTHING is gonna come from their hysterics, and there is no real story. They will bump the story next year though, to try and cause another panic, but just like all the other houses they attacked before Recruitment this year, it didn’t matter one bit to anyone. PNMs will still want KD and all the other attacked houses, and life will go on.
8. Anyone who gets their UA Greek news from Greek Rank needs a new hobby and definitely is NOT Greek.

You can now feel free to attack me. I’ll save you the trouble. I am NOT a KD, I am Greek at UA. Just like EVERY house, including my own, I’ve met a few KDs that I’ve really liked, I’ve met some that probably deserve to be punched in the face. I’m not a mom yet, and KD’s status doesn’t matter to me in the slightest, other than I’m tired of reading such obviously fabricated BS when NO ONE knows anything at this point.

I've been reading watching this play out on here and its all fabricated. If you read story it does continue to change slightly. No doubt that this is a troll. Dont think they necessarily have real hate for KD, just picked a house. The way person writes (along with posting as other people to lend himself credibility - the news media for example). This is a guy. Finding great pleasure seeing how many people will bite. In fact, I doubt any of the other outraged posters are in fact other people. This too shall pass. When there are no more takers, he will move on.

hello, this story did not surface on GR. It surfaced in a parents group on FB, with a name attached to it. A name whose daughter pledged KD and then told her mother of the hazing that occurred. That girl is no longer a KD. It does not take a genius to put this together.

It might have started on a FB page, but it took on a life of it's own here, and ONLY here. If there was a real story it would be other places.
Nope. It was a failed attempt to make something out of something you don't even understand, and it failed. NOTHING is going to happen to KD because there is NOTHING to the story.
Please get a new hobby.

Who would fake a mom's Facebook post using real names and everything l just to slander KD? I don't understand that part. Like, what kind of troll would go through all that, create an insta to reveal it, and use real names just to get at KD? Also, idk why a mom would fake that kind of story with details that specific? I get why you're skeptical but it just doesn't make sense. I can see why the other new members might be lying about not being hazed so that KD doesn't get kicked off, since they want to stay in the sorority.
