Can we all please wake up and realize that you don't HAVE to do anything you don't want to do.... mothers, your daughters are in college now. If they have not been peer pressured before where they learn to say no, then they shouldn't be at such a large university. If she was really that uncomfortable she would have politely decline. Sounds like a freshman that got too drunk and blamed it all on the older girls when mommy finds out. Grow up. take responsibility for your own actions. That is all.

This response is frankly offensive to every single member of our greek system. She was a pledge that had been a member for a very short period of time. Sure in the perfect world she would have said I can't drink any more. BUT, peer pressure is a very real and dangerous thing which is why the older sisters should have known better. Don't blame the victim or criticize the mother!

oh please. they are barely sophomores don't know any better, it was all fun and she didnt know when to say no. then goes crying to her mom. half of them probably arent even 3 months older than the new girls.
