Theta is in debt. They have yet to repay the loan to the University from the remodel of the house (remodel, not the planned rebuild). Their nationals is not offering support, because they see Theta at Alabama as a liability due to how big our Greek life is.

Theta isn't in debt they wouldn't be approved for a new house if they were still in debt...

Theta's house is run by their national housing corporation, just like most other chapters here are run by their national housing corporations. They have full national support. There are mortgages on every single house here (that means debt y'all.) Why do you think the housing fees ar so high here? To pay of the house debt. @Fake you sound like a nasty old woman who hates Theta for some reason. Oh...right...distract from the KD crisis...

The other comment is 100% correct. None of the houses here at UA are in debt and no national org would allow their chapter at one of the biggest Greek schools in the country to fold for financial reasons. Ever. Theta of all the national orgs on our campus has PLENTY of money to spend.

Their last two presidents were forced to resign because it turned out they weren't actually full-time students.

Their current president is awesome and seems to be steering them in a good direction. Don't know anyone who doesn't have kind words to say about her!
