Everybody got great girls...with your endless chatter that GPB killed it..if you want to improve stay off GR and ignore everything...

GPB did amazing and everyone saw it and heard it on the row.They pulled many great girls that would have gone OR, mostly as fillers. Even typical OR girls were taking a look at GPB in rounds 2 and 3. This helped other NR houses by pushing out other really strong girls that were loving gpb out to cross rushing houses. Lots of smart and pretty OOS girls on NR this year. Things are changing. OR will have to really step up and look at their early releases a bit more.

It's not just one pc though, their past few have each been a little better than the last. Better girls recruit better girls. Hopefully they can keep it up, I'm happy for them. When I rushed girls would drop before going gphi and now look at them

It's not just one pledge class. They have been quietly killing it for a couple of years now and have now hit it out of the park so everyone is recognizing all their hard work over the last couple of years that brought them to this point.

they got a lot more girls than other lower NR houses...isn't that not great though? It means more girls wanted them but those extra girls weren't wanted by other chapters and just had to get a bid right? Not trying to knock GPB since they got some really great girls and look like they had a great rush. Numbers just get brought up all the time when looking at quality and I'm pretty sure I read that somewhere last year (re: extra girls)

Could be that they wanted to take extra girls because their older PCs are smaller than average due to retention and they want to get closer to campus average in total #.

No, it's when someone gets a huge number of quota and many don't show up on bid day that you have to worry.

GBP kept their mouth shut and focused on recruitment without getting into online drama with what people were saying about them/ranks. Some houses (cough ADP/DG cough) spent too much time on GR talking about "involvement" and rankings. Now look who came up on top this year. Proud of Gphi!
