I haven't seen or heard of tears anywhere, but word going around is everyone pretty much did as expected. These are the ones that struggled the most.

Kappa did very well, but not as well as the past few years.
Biggest surprise was Gamma Phi's new class. They did amazing.

Kappas PC was SO mixed I am confused by them. Looks like they got the normal Kappa type, their AL girls, some good OOS, and then some girls that just ??? Very interesting PC lol.

Must be some disappointed KDs because Kappa did well overall, but not the best on the row.

Legacies. They actually killed it with the in state girls, but there were tons of girls they wanted that wanted them too that they didn't get because of legacies. I have a friend in kappa and she was saying they got a ton of their top PNMs, and the in state crowd is thrilled, but there were lots of southern OOS tops they wanted that didn't make it high enough on the bid list. I thought they had more pretty girls than years past, but wow I'm actually glad my chapter isn't so big nationally because we get to focus on girls we really want, not just random legacies that may not even have good grades/be cute.

As an active I can say we did not struggle...we are extremely happy with our pledge class and got such amazing beautiful girls!

Word on the street combined with what I've personally seen so far
Did very well: ZTA, APhi, GPhi, DDD
Did pretty well: XO, Pi Phi, Phi Mu
Did okay: ADPi, DZ, AXO
Did pretty bad: KD, AOPi, DG
What happened: KKG, AGD, Theta

ADPi is just not the strongest at recruitment. They get a lot of girls who flew under the radar but don't exactly stand out on bid day.
I'd say Gamma Phi took more from the ZTA/PBP crowd than the ADPi/DG girls.

adpi/dg are not the best at recruitment but they do a good job of making the best of the girls they end up with. gphi didn't take much from the zta crowd though at all...zta/aphi/pbp all definitely did really well. i think the more prettier girls gphi got usually would have went adpi but didn't.

Saw some unhappy Thetas leaving stadium and out front but looking around at the group, there were groups of really pretty girls in there and some strong PNMs. not sure what happened but suspecting that the rising tide of gphi taking more strong girls left some good picks who were counting on gphi for theta. those who missed the cut at gphi didn't go dg or adpi they went theta. they didn't all look happy but the group looks good. not sure what happened to dg seemed to think they were rushing well but they miscalculated in their cuts - aimed too high? gphi rocked.

I definitely think DG assumes their on-campus accomplishments the past year would have mad enough then more competitive. Fact of the matter is that none of the PNMs were here for greek week/derby days and they increasingly make their decisions based on what happens in the room versus what they already know about the houses prior to august.

Kappa did not do well...they got some rather unfortunate looking girls...some of my friends in it were pretty disappointed with their performance during rush. GPhi did do very well.
