sophomore rushing

Will someone please list the pros/cons of rushing again as a sophomore? My friend rushed this year but things didn't turn out how she thought they would (she only had one house left and she didn't feel at home at all). We are just wondering whether she should try COBing in the fall and spring, or whether she should just wait and rush again as a sophomore. Can anyone explain how it is being a sophomore rushing and being a sophomore pledge in a pledge class full of freshmen? Is it hard for the sophomore to meet girls her age? Informative answers would be so helpful!!

If she dropped voluntary she can not COB. It's difficult to rush as a sophomore. She needs to get good grades, 3.5+, in order to have a fair chance. She should have maximized her options, she might have fallen in love with her house during pref

If you drop out before you submit your preference card (mraba), you're eligible for COB. You could go to preference round and instead of going to "rank" your choice, I think you can tell the person you just want to drop instead of submitting your MRABA.
