Because apparently they see something in you that the house is who have dropped you haven't seen. I honestly am not trying to be unkind, but you have to look at it from that perspective. It might be the one that ends up on your card tomorrow. Consider your options very carefully

Because the other houses did not rank you higher on their lists.
The only real power you have is tonight, when you rank the sororities you went to today on your pref card.
If there is a house you'd rather die than join, leave it off your list.
That's not what the Rho Chis will tell you.
But if it's on your list, there's a very good chance you'll get a bid from them.
You might not get a bid, but at least you'll be eligible for COB later.
