sisterhood round
by: WhyI don't understand why some houses didn't dress more formal during sisterhood round? I thought it was supposed to be more serious...my 3 favorite houses all dressed down and honestly it made me drop them in my rankings I was really disappointed but shockingly loved the houses more that were dressed up!

If sisterhood to you means being dressed up and a face full of makeup all the time, then run to Phi Mu as fast as you can. But if sisterhood means being able to just be yourself and not have to put on a front all the time, then you really missed the boat with your other three.
Your sorority is your family away from home. It's not a pageant.

Greek Chic states that each round gets a little dressier so OPs question was probably about that. PNMs wear dressier dresses each round except for philanthropy so OP was questioning why they didn't dress that way. No need for calling out PM or any other sorority. OP wasn't talking about their hair and makeup but the choice of clothing. Take a break on the bashing.

Wow you guys are being really harsh here- OP I understand what you are saying and I actually agree- I am NOT a laid back type of girl and last year I also expected some houses to be a little more dressed up / serious during sister-hood and yes it did effect my liking /ranking of those houses. I don't think it is a shallow issue at all- but rather gives a PNM a good taste of each houses individual personality - I probably would not be happy in one of the more laid back houses because that is not who I am- everybody is different.

it wasn't meant to be based on appearances I don't care for that I just thought it was supposed to be a more serious round rather than jumping around
