legacy

I don't want to go back to pref where I am a legacy but I also know it gives me a sure thing. Is it too late to be cut. Sos. I like 3 others better.

If you get invited back to your top three you won't go back to your legacy house

Tonight is the last chance for chapters to cut legacies as I believe most chapters place legacies at the top of their first bid list. So it's not too late for your legacy to release you or hopefully your top 3 will invite you to pref.

If you do go to pref at your legacy, just know that how you rank the houses is given first consideration. If you rank house "A" your #1 choice and your on their first bid list, you match (or if they have not yet made quota by the time your name appears on the rest of their bid list). In this situation you would get "A" regardless of where "B" and Legacy have you on their bid lists. If A and B are both at quota before your name appears, you'll match to your legacy- assuming you listed them on your pref card. There is basically no hope for you to be a Quota Addition to A or B even if you maximize your options because of how chapters place legacies on their bid lists.

So I guess think long and hard tomorrow and during pref about whether you want to list your legacy on your pref card or not. It could come down to - would you rather not be Greek at all than join your legacy??

If you attend a chapter's pref you'll be getting a bid somewhere. If you like 3 better then list the 3 you like. If any of those cut you for tomorrow you'll end up with your legacy tomorrow (unless they cut you too). As long as you survive tonight with at least 1 house you'll get a bid. Good Luck
