alumnae
by: YoSo which sororities on the lower tiers (DG down) have the strongest national organizations?? Saw something about Theta on an older thread
#3by: Theta
Theta does indeed have a strong national presence. They provide tons of leadership training for their current members. While they tend to struggle with popularly in most SEC schools they are top in tons of other major universities like SMU, UN, USoCal, UT, etc. I am a Theta alum and as I travel for work, I've always been so proud of my association because everyone I meet seems to think highly of Theta.

DG and Theta are huge, top tier sororities nationally- in the same pack with XO, Kappa, Pi Phi, and Tri Delt.
Gamma Phi is a notch below - big, but not as prominent. Nationally sits with Alpha Phi, ADPi, Zeta, AXO, and KD.
AOPi and DZ are much smaller and tend to be a little more regional.

Agreed with a lot of the above, ones that are strong all around (in college and out) are probably KKG, XO, Theta, DG, and TriDelt. My twin older sisters were in Theta and DG in college and they both got involved in their alumni stuff when they moved to new cities and said it helped them make friends and stay connected (one is in the northeast and one is in Texas).
Neither went here so they don't know how crazy y'all are about tiers, but they told me that I shouldn't just worry about what people think here because it's the rest of life that's gonna count more. I haven't had a full schedule but I'm comfortable with what I have left and hopefully will love my sisters as much as my sisters love theirs.
