The tent talk I've been hearing:
1. ZTA is going to be on Social Probation for the dirty rushing scandal.
2. Phi Mu dropped almost all OTM Birmingham girls.
3. APhi is dropping girls they would usually recruit in order to try and recruit more southern girls to improve their reputation.
4. People are enjoying themselves at Theta but are scared to end up there due to their low reputation.
5. KD, PM, and DDD dropping a lot of southern girls and keeping Northern OOS girls. (do not know why)
Not sure any of it's true, just what's been going around.

1. No one believes this.
2. No one cares. Lots of OOS in my group, and where Alabama girls go means nothing to us.
3. No one has a clue, because how would anyone know their motivation?
4. Only two girls seem obsessed with ranks, and care about not being in a lower rank sorority. Lots of girls seem to really like Theta and DZ.
5. Never been mentioned, but if it's true, it might explain why I have a full schedule as an OOS, when I expected to be cut.

Zeta literally is on social probation for the upcoming fall semester. Like literally go email Panhellenic/Judicial Board and ask. And I know someone a while ago said they already had a social calendar done for fall 2017 but all houses need to have their social calendars for the fall semester done before the end of the spring semester.

Amen! It matters if you got caught and then how you handled the issue. Was it one person, dis she throw her sorority under the bus? Or was it the rush chair sending out messages to contact PNM's. So there are differences.

there's a difference between some girls in other houses leaving comments on PNMs' instas and the rush chair literally telling the house it's okay to dirty rush.
yes, i understand that some other houses dirty rush in other ways, but were they exposed? the difference is that those other houses didn't get caught. I'm not saying that zeta is the only house that dirty rushes and that they should be crucified. I'm just saying that what zeta did was exceptionally wrong and clearly one of their girls thought so too... zeta's rush chair was encouraging their girls to break the rules, she even said they were breaking the rules. panhellenic has them on social probation to set an example for all the other houses. kind of like how ddd was on probation for drinking in the house fall 2016 and kind of like how theta was on probation for having a bid day party fall 2015.

I think we can all agree there is a difference between individual girls contacting individual PNMs on social media and a member of your executive council actively encouraging younger pledge classes to take girls out to dinner and being proud/self-satisfied with the fact that they are breaking the rules.

Yes I would. I'm in the '16 pledge class and my group of friends and I were extremely disappointed to see that our rush chair was continuously encouraging us to dirty rush PNMs, far beyond just a few comments on Insta. If you don't believe then that's fine. But trust me, there are a few of us who really don't like how our house operates.

If you are a Zeta, you would be in a party right now. A real Zeta would not throw her sorority off a cliff.
TO the person who said contact Panhellenic and they will confirm it. Please copy and paste the email or letter from the Panhellenic rep who confirmed Zeta is on probation - make sure you include the name of the person who confirmed it. THEN, you will be believable.

Doesn't take a brain surgeon to know you're not a zeta lol. These are all lies we are not on social probation. We've already had 2 swaps, 2 date parties, plenty sisterhood events & have a swap planned for every upcomingThursday. Try again. ;)

It would be completely f-ed up for panhel to not tell pnms until after rush that their house was on probation actions they had no part in.
The pnms - who will make up about a third of the house - had no part of the actions.
Most girls don't care. Actually like to know more about places they willl commit four years and about $25 grand to than a 20 minute rush conversation is going to tell them. \n\n\n\n\n

Well, too bad, because that's literally exactly how social probation works. Happens at every school. Happened to Theta in 2015 because of their bid day party. Happened to me during my first semester at another school before I transferred here.
Panhellenic does not tell PNMs because it would be unfair for a house to get extremely low membership, thus detrimentally impacting their ability to recruit for YEARS, just because of one semester of probation. it's a few months, it sucks, you get over it and everyone learns their lesson.

I think DZ is doing great too and I've heard it from others. Seems like alums still wanna rank them and Theta at the bottom on here but I just don't see it. Not hearing much about DG or AOPi but GPhi DZ and Theta definitely
