what's the point
by: ...Why do some of the houses try soo hard to sell me on their house during convos just to drop me? To the point of telling me that I'd fit in so well there, how so many of the girls there are into the same kinds of things, stuff like that. Like what's the point

So what PNMs don't understand is that we don't go back every night and say "ok let's drop Sally, Susie, Pam, etc". Like we don't go through every individual PNM after each round or we'd never finish recruitment, you are "ranked" and if even one girl you talk to gives you a low enough score, that can get you cut.

Because it is a big game. They are selling you on their house just like you have to sell yourself. Some houses are better at it than others. It's mean, but NONE of rush is nice. It's just a necessary evil to go through to get to be Greek. So it's one week out of your life that sucks on BOTH sides. We get hurt to when we are told our favorite is being cut. In the end we make a decision is Greek life worth it. Through my tears both as an active and as a PNM I still say its worth it.

And that will be why I won't come to your school next year despite loving so many aspects of 'Bama. Sad that they treat OOS ppl that way!
