There are a lot of reasons and maybe no specific reason at all. The houses still have to make drastic cuts at this point because there are so many girls. You need to understand that the houses have to cut girls if they want to or not. Girls who would have beee good fits at certain houses will get cut because of the numbers. As long as you follow through you will end up somewhere. Very rare at this point to be completely cut. I know it is hard on the pnms but trust me it is hard on the actives as well!

every house scores differently - some may cut going into sisterhood for finances. Like if they think you won't be able to afford dues all four years. Some may cut because of lack of involvement in high school. the questions they ask you typically correlate to what they are scoring you on that day.
