Came in thinking about 3 particular OR sororities bc I know a lot of girls there.I am a legacy at one. I have liked it through rush. I have found another house that I think fits me better (also OR) where I do not know people. I am honestly worried that my friends will be mad and need advice. I feel very pressured to go to them bc I am in state and no one usually goes where they don't know people from my HS. Thank you.

Already having friends there honestly doesn't matter. It may seem like it at first, but you're probably not even going to hang out with them that often. You're going to be too busy hanging out with your pledge class and should focus on meeting new people!

If you choose a house based on where you feel pressured rather than where you feel like you fit in then you are guaranteed to be miserable- I don't care whether it is an OR Top Tier or a NR bottom... listen to and trust yourself and thats the truth.

lead your own life and you will be happier. you can always remain friends with high school while expanding to meet new college friends. good luck.

Look around at the other PNM's with you at those houses in question. Your pledge class will come from these girls. This group is who you will be closest to for all your time as a member from day 1, not the older girls. Do you feel like you belong more with the PNM's at one house or the other? This is very important and not talked about enough, IMO.
