cuts for any reason can happen any time during rush. for example, yes, the majority of grade cuts were after IWTs but you can be cut because of grades anytime during the week. the most common instance for cuts based on grades and location later in the week is when it comes down to you and a few other pnms. if two girls are the same, an or house will always take the "more southern" one of the "more northern" one. same with grades, no matter how good your grades are, there are 100 more girls with even better grades.

the four houses are great but don't shut the others out. why are you trying so hard to be in a house that cuts girls based on zip code when there are a handful of other that want you for you.

I'm in one of the OR houses you mentioned. It honestly comes down to how much we like you. If we like you we'll keep you if we dont we cut you, it has nothing to do with your zipcode. You're just more likely to have friends in the chapter if you come from in state and therefore more likely to get a bid. We have plenty of OOS girls who we love just the same.
