cuts per round

that thread got so long, i would like to see an honest new one

Got my first choice, NR

I was 16-8-7-3

ACT 32, 4.0 GPA, 400+ volunteer hours, class president, no recs(only because I signed up for recruitment passed the Rec deadline) came in with 12+ AP credits, and I was a legacy for Chi Omega and Delta Gamma. I was dropped by Alpha Chi Omega and Alpha Gam during sisterhood round. I ended up preffing Phi Mu, Kappa Kappa Gamma, and Zeta Tau Alpha. I honestly don't know how I managed to get Kappa preference round, I expected to be dropped by them because I didn't have a rec, I met the president sisterhood round so maybe I was well liked by the girls. Recs are super important, guessing that's why I was dropped by Alpha Chi and Alpha Gam. I dropped Chi Omega the first round because I didn't click with the girls.

16-7-6-3

Southern OOS, 4.0 GPA, lots and lots of involvement/volunteer work, 2 recs per house. Preffed my top three houses and got my top choice on bid day. I didn't have as many options as a lot of people following IWTs but it didn't matter in the end!

I recall something like 16-7-5-3 being pretty typical.

Of course some better 16-12-8-3, with full cards, and some more severely cut 16-2-2-1

16-11-4-3
I had a 3.65, 2120 SAT (1420 without writing) and was a National Merit Scholar, average to low community service hours, a few extracurricular activities. I was cut after open house by Alpha Chi, Chi O, Alpha Gam, Phi Mu, and Alpha Phi, I suspect I didn't fit the image requirement by some houses as I had recently gotten my hair dyed and it looked terrible. I was cut by a lot of houses after philanthropy, which was a bit of a blow to my self esteem, but I assume this was partly due to my lack of leadership positions and the fact that I simply didn't click with all the girls I talked to. I only attended sisterhood at ADPi (I was a legacy), AOPi, GPhi, and Theta, and I prefed AOPi, GPhi, and Theta. :)

2015 OOS 3.7 GPA 30 ACT rec to most if not all houses, was a legacy at two houses and pledged one of my legacy houses

y'all i need someone to give me some hope after my pretty severe cuts and everyone here did so well please more people share

2016, OOS NorthEast, 3.5 unweighted GPA, good extracurriculars, one rec for like three houses and none for the rest, great conversations in most houses on IWTs.
