Once again.... evidence the ratings and other crap on this board being undermined by actual reality. OR is much more open than people here say and top NR are actually very competitive and selective. Good luck in round two ladies.

@F is so correct! I'm in an OR house and ended up getting cut by some of the more competitive NR houses, I know my house is trying to make an effort to get some awesome OOS girls this year!

OOS, had great conversations at all houses (I thought), above a 3.8 GPA, had recs to most of the Old Row houses and didn't get an invite back to any. Also surprised I got cut from Alpha Phi, they were one of my favorite conversations.

OK, A Phi alums, we get it. You love A Phi but you're being so obvious that it looks like your return rates are way down and you're recruiting on the internet. Stop it.

Your GPA is in the red zone and you seriously thought that AXO who invite you back? You can have all the great convos in the world, but any girl in the red zone should be thankful to have any house back at the end of recruitment.

im super thankful for the houses i got with the grades i had but my grades dont represent my intelligence which is what i didnt really like about first cuts. but just trying to trust the process and definitely keeping an open mind. i wasn't planning on rushing amnd decided last minute so hoping to find the things called "home" in of the houses

Your grades may not represent your intelligence but they represent how you do in school. The smartest person in the world can still fail all their classes if they don't try.

Maybe those houses cut you because you were pompous and full of yourself and think you're smarter than you really are?

She said she was thankful for the houses she did get back! She also said she knew whe was a potential grade risk so cut her some slack if she was disappointed that she got cut by some houses she liked. Good luck b hope it works out for you!

That is what the tent talk is today. But I must say not a lot of tears. I haven't seen any. PNMs surprised, but not devastated

Overall certain houses are more competitive, but it also depends on what fits for each PNM. A glamorous Northern beauty may find invites back to ZTA and APhi easy, but maybe their grades aren't as good so they get dropped by XO, AXO, and KKG first round. Or, maybe they're not as into beauty but they have great grades and connections. AGD will be easier for them. It's not that Alpha Phi and PiPhi didn't like you, they maybe just didn't see you in their house. And maybe you're OOS but have good grades and seem fun and easygoing, so you got invited back to KKG. It's not fair to say house competition is all wrong based on your personal experiences, even if rankings can be subjective.

This is getting hilarious!!! Stop being so obvious. Your return rates are way down, that's obvious. A Phi isn't one that girls want so the lengths you're going to to pretend to be pnms are just hilarious.
