It is so hard for girls who grew up dreaming of letter to understand it isn't for everyone. If you KNOW it isn't for you then please drop out sooner rather than later. It effects all of the pnms if girls stay in rush but know they won't end up accepting a bid or sticking around. There could be a girl whose name is right after yours but she doesn't make it to the next round.

@OP: Good for you, recognizing it early. It's not for everyone even if we believe everyone will love it. I will say Round 1 or even all rounds -- aren't real life sorority.

Pls don't judge on IWT. Give more time... most sorority women are same as non-sorority women once past recruitment.

I honestly think that it's great that you can come to your own conclusion like this especially with outside pressure. Is it early in the week? Yes, and honestly you may feel completely different at the end of the week and really want to pledge a house. However, Greek life really isn't for everyone and no matter how many door songs and sob stories you hear will change that. If you truly believe that this isn't meant for you then I support your decision to drop... Better now than later after you've taken a bid from another girl.

It's awesome that you tried it out! Just so you know, you can always join a sorority without participating in formal recruitment. ADX and SDT both hold informal recruitment events once the semester starts as well as some of the special interest sororities/fraternities! You can also sign up for COB through the OFSL! :)
