With my house, we have primarily out of state members, we match our members up with girls from the same state. We go over all your resumes and pick the girls that you would connect with the most. This was my favorite thing during recruitment because it gave me an idea of who I would hang out with in a particular house if I ended up being apart of the house.

Yes. It's called matching. We do our best to assign actives to pnms we think would get along well.

Yes, we do. But we don't always have an obvious match for every girl every party, so be prepared with your own convo topics to share with us too. Some convos are so smooth you feel like you are talking to a new best friend. Other convos take a bit more work to get rolling and if girls are tired sometimes I think we should just laugh about being tired.

All houses try to match MOST girls, and most houses are matching girls the up until right before the party begins. So you may be matched with an active just because you both just so happened to play tennis in high school. Or you may be matched with an active because you're from the same area. Or you may be matched with an active because you know someone who she knows. The matching system can vary between a match just based on the surface like extracurriculars or based on connections like friends of friends.

Also keep in mind that not every girl who is matched with an active actually ends up speaking to that active. Everything is happening so quickly in the house that it's not uncommon for an active to accidentally pick up the wrong girl.
