How does the whole alternating actives thing work? Like when one active is talking to a PNM and then another active comes up, gets a small rundown of what the PNM was just talking about, and then the original active leaves? Like is their a system that the actives follow? Also, why do some houses do it more than others and why do they alternate if it apparently doesn't mean anything?
I'm sorry, I'm not trying to read into anything I'm just curious!

You'll find out when it is your turn to be in the sister side of recruitment. It's literally not that scientific USUALLY. Like not worth explaining here. Like all actives are grouped into "bump groups" and they talk to the same bunch of PNMs and bump each other the whole round.

Some will even post pics of their bump group for the week. It is a group of girls that all talk to the same group of PNM's and bump each other many times through the parties. Not all houses do it this way but some do. Usually these girls will have more authority to speak about you (since they were the ones that talked to you) when it comes to fighting to have you stay or release you from their house. Not all houses do it this way. Some bump groups have no way of helping your case or not due to all the other factors that go in to their picking the girls they want. What were your grades, your involvement, your awards, and what do they know about you from before school.....

Stop overthinking this stuff. Every house does things differently. It doesn't necessarily mean anything and if it does, you won't know until you're an active. And you'll only know how YOUR house does it.
You're clearly describing something that happened in one house. How could we know how to answer it without knowing which house? Only actives from that house would be able to answer, and they won't do that until you're an active yourself.
Stop overthinking. Just enjoy the ride.

Stop. It has nothing to do with people WANTING to tell you anything. Recruitment/membership selection is PRIVATE and SECRET and each house does things differently. We can't tell you. We also can't speak for every house. You'll find out how your house does it when you're an active.
You need to stop being nosy. Just relax and enjoy rush.
