I think the conversations in AXO, XO, and KKG went very well. AXO and KKG dropped me after IWTs, XO after philanthropy.

I liked a lot but the ones who stood out in recruitment (doesn't mean I would have pledged all looking back) were in no order:

Kappa
Alpha chi
Chi o
Adpi
Pi phi
Tri Delt

I felt a more genuine feeling at some houses. I also tried to look at the way they were treating others while I was there. If they were all over someone and not me- I noticed. If they were all over me and neglecting others- I noticed that too. I tried to look at how it would be later and how I would fit in. I wanted a place that was genuine. I would suggest doing this. Houses I thought were very good at rush:

Houses I thought were somewhat awkward with rush (not bad but not the best):

Houses I thought weren't good at rush:

KD, APhi, AOPi, PBP

I had great conversations and felt very comfortable in kappa and alpha phi too. Didn't like phi mu and zta AT ALL. They dropped me after IWT

It depends who you get matched with. If you aren't a house'' watch list, then you may not get paired with the best conversationalist or a girl that'll match your interests.

Honestly, AXO seems to have always done a good job at rush in terms of "everyone" liking them. But last years pledge class was not as strong "socially". Be interesting what people think this year. They do usually attempt to make everyone feel welcome even if they have no interest.

Some houses get rush shade from girls who don't like their vibe - APhi and ZTA most notably. They are social girls so think they are good at rush and convos but again some girls just do t like them - usually those that may also say they felt "intimidated". Bit I'd say they are good at rush.

PhiMu and KD most likely to just be cold to those they don't want. XO a bit weak as well with those they don't have on the watch list as well.

I think everyone else tries so the rush experience is positive. The personality of the houses come out, which is what you want.

Wouldn't say any house comes off as being better or different during rush than what you would find as a memeber.

Kappa gives a great rush to everyone. I hate disingenuous girls.

Think there is a difference between houses that are good at rush; houses that give a good experience and houses that you like

Houses that are good at rush get the most girls THEY want. AXO, XO, PhiMu KKG and KD seem good at rush in this way. Frankly, so are APhi and ZTA.

As far as a good experience, as noted above, it's a different list. many above don't offer a great rush experience for girls they don't have on their top lists.

As far as who is liked. That's a list personal to every pnm.

I never could never remember my conversations at Alpha Gam or ADPi. I always mixed them up. They were both very blah houses to me during recruitment. Delta Gamma, Pi Phi, and Kappa always made me feel at home. I always felt comfortable talking to their girls and opening up. ZTA I felt like I had to pretend to be someone I wasn't. Alpha Phi was just weird.. they're girls ONLY talked about themselves. Oh and the girl I talked to at Kappa was high aaaafff during preference round. I loved Alpha Chi, I would have never guessed their stereotype on campus. They always were so welcoming and hype. I really liked them. Phi Mu was uncomfortable because I felt like I had to be too proper. I felt like I was having tea with like my great grandma.
