This is a legitimate concern and a real question for once. No one was trying to bash alabama or any group, but find out about safety precautions around campus. I won't get into the philosophical argument as to why it's problematic to tell girls that their safety is their problem, but if the school has safety measures in place or chapters have methods of keeping girls safe (sober sisters, etc), then I think it's great for PNMs to hear. This was a really scary situation IMO and I'm glad PNMs are asking about it.

In agree that the original poster is a mom. If mom was Greek and involved in her alum chapter, then I'm pretty sure she can ask alums from other sororities these questions.
Moms like ours don't just have friends in their sorority when they're 50.
And finally, I agre: why would a sorority divulge their security here on an anon message board?! This is a question to ask during recruitment, not in public. Thats why im pretty sure that the original poster is not a PNM.
