sophomore slump

by: Sad

Now that recruitment season has slowly begun to roll around, has anyone else started experiencing a sophomore slump? I feel as though the novelty of the sisterhood and the houses has kinda worn off, and instead find myself feeling alone and unappreciated. Anyone else feel the same way?

The sophomore slump was definitely a thing for me towards the end of my freshman year but as soon as we got out new PC I was able to focus on them and really experience the magic of my sisterhood all over again. You're not alone, it'll get better.

Dunno what you're talking about. Getting ready for recruitment on the other side and moving into the house is exciting.

If anything there is a Junior slump as you find yourself confronted with venturing into the post college life, and are less and less interested in the drama and novelty of greek life.

I haven't felt the sophomore slump! I think it helps that I'm living in the house this year as a sophomore. Do lots of girls feel like they're in a slump? I sure hope not! Throw yourself into recruitment and work week! Try to meet a new bff!

My sophomore slump derived more from social/party scene than anything sisterhood related. Like freshman year all my friends and I did was go to fraternity parties. Then sophomore year came and we didn't want to do that anymore but also couldn't get into any of the bars over. Junior year it definitely got better though bc everyone turns 21
