dating scene among greeks

by: Dude

I'm about to be a freshman and a rushee with a few fraternities (mostly new row). I was just wondering because I'm curious, how's the dating scene between Greeks? Do most date each other, casual hookups or what? Also, I know Greeks from different schools come to each other's parties and stuff like that so do some people ever end up dating guys/girls from other schools they met through mutual friends or anything? I'm OOS and just have no idea how the dating scene is here.

It's college... So it's going to be mainly casual hookups.

For the most part, most Greeks are into the casual hookups, so like going home with someone after a swap, going home with your date after a date party/formal, meeting random people at other parties and bars, etc. People definitely do date, but it's not predominant. And of those who are dating, it's really a toss up between houses meaning there's no one frat that specifically only dates girls in one sorority. I know girls in top sororities who are dating men in bottom fraternities, and vice versa... And I know a few sorority girls who are dating GDIs. And in terms of people dating people from other schools, it definitely happens. Idk how else to further explain this because like everyone's making their own choices... Some people like casual dating, some people like more exclusive relationships. There aren't any rules or anything, so anything you can imagine in terms of the dating scene probably goes on.

TBH I think most girls are always lowkey open to relationships. If you're a good guy then it won't be hard to find someone
