SDT is a lot worse than any house that participates in formal recruitment

AOPi, GPB, KAT and DZ are all great houses. Ignore the ranks - these houses are light years ahead of SDT and ADX.

All "lower ranked" houses are great! They're all extremely active and provide a lot for thousands of women in this Greek community. To compare them to a 50 member chapter that willing withdrew itself from most Greek activities within the community decades ago is just ignorant and rude. I mean don't get me wrong, SDT is doing their own thing and they're obviously happy with it but Theta, GPB, and AOPi (and the other 3 lower ranked houses because there are more) are so much different that SDT. All of the lower ranked houses are extremely philanthropic in their own ways, they swap with a variety of fraternities in all tiers, and more importantly they provide you with the opportunity to bond with hundreds of girls. If these lower ranked houses were as bad as all the people make them out to be then their chapters would have been pulled a long time ago. Don't let rumors get to you.
