Which houses actually teach the history like founding sisters and founding date? You can just say if your house does or doesn't. I know Zeta is technically a fraternity because it was founded by all girls without the help of guys, and ADPI was the first all womens sorority. Im actually interested in the history. Do sororitys still teach it at Alabama?

ADPI and Phi Mu are both fraternities and are the oldest. 1851 & 1852 respectively. Originally founded as the Adelphean and Philomathean societies in Macon Georgia at Wesleyan University.

But yes they should teach you this of (insert sorority you pledge), if they don't bring it up with the membership director.

KD and ZTA were also founded on the same campus (along with Tri Sigma and ASA. Always thought it was interesting how half of them became big national chapters and half of them didn't really.)
