recs

Just wondering if there was any way to tell if a rec has been received. Like could you email the chapter and ask? I had two alums write recs for me but when I followed up with them to see if they submitted them, neither replied and it's past the deadline now. I'm worried because it was for a house I know drops if you don't have a rec.

Does it matter who wrote the rec? ( friends mom, local alumni, active in nationals, Alabama alumni)

Alpha Phi sent me an email when they received my rec, which was nice. I didn't hear from any other ones.

Some alumni who wrote me recs let me know/forwarded the confirmation email they got from the sorority chapter letting them know they recieved the Rec. Not all of them did though, I sent them all thank you notes pretty early on just as a gentle reminder to get it in if they hadn't already.
