I've looked online to see what attire is needed for rush but can someone go into depth as to what is and isn't appropriate? I've heard that we shouldn't show shoulders. Is that true?

Asked and answered so many times. No rompers. No cutouts. No super tight or short dresses. No off the shoulder because you will fidget with it to much. Cold shoulder should be fine. The Lilly trend is kind of over. Simple and classic is the safe bet. Don't show too much skin because it is a formal event. Think family wedding stylish but appropriate to wear in a church. Look at instagram from last year and you will have a good idea what is appropriate.
