what is some advice you could give an incoming freshman girl about rushing? I know Alabama has a very intense greek system and I just want to prepare for what I'm getting into and what to look out for.

Never, under any circumstances, look an old row fraternity or sorority member directly in the eyes. Never, under any circumstances, address an old row fraternity or sorority member unless addressed first. And finally, if you, as you will, find yourself lodged in with the paupers and renters in new row, thank your lucky stars you made it that far.
