sincere question

by: Does it matter

I am OOS with a decent GPA,(3.7) and a resume that is pretty decent. I'm cute, stylish and I was super involved in my HS. I really want a sisterhood but I do also want to give back and be super involved. How do I know which houses' s are involved vs others that aren't? As an OOS sister, will I be able to hold leadership positions? From reading here, it sounds like I will really have no control over where I end up anyway. True? Any tips for finding out which ones are super involved or letting houses know?

Look at each official campus webpage (listed in Greek chic). Houses usually list involvement somewhere in there.

OP troll you or one of your squad girls continue to ask this same question (at least for the last 3 years) please consider changing up the GPA and the phrasing.

If I am OOS, who would I ask? I know a few active girls, but how do I ask this question without possibly offending them or the house they are in. I haven't been here for the past three years. I started reading here in June. No one really addresses the involvement side. It is a sincere question. The only one I read who is super involved is AXO but I think I am under their GPA. My resume is definitely better than my GPA though. I just don't want to make a wrong choice and end up dropping. Thanks anyway.

Assuming you're not a troll:

Every house is going to have girls that are super involved and girls that don't do anything. Every house will give you a chance to be super involved in their philanthropy, greek week/homecoming, and campus in general. If you are interested in having a higher-up leadership position then you may be better of at a new row house instead of an old row house. The new row houses that I think of as being most involved overall are Theta, ADPi, and DG.

To be honest you seem to be under the impression that you have more of a choice in where you go than you actually do. The houses pick you, you don't pick them. Go through the process naturally and select the house you feel the most comfortable in. When you ask actives about their philanthropy/involvement you will be able to tell who is being genuine, trust me. Good luck!

AXO, XO, ADPi, DG are all super involved on campus.

In sga maybe, but there are way more things to be involving in than that.
