For recruitment 2017...which houses do you think will likely rise, stay the same or fall?

Since we know that there are more OOS people Rushing, I think y'all are putting way too much emphasis on OR anyway. When I went through recruitment last year, very few of the people I met who were OOS were obsessed with OR being the top houses that they HAD to have. The Alabama girls and some girls from neighboring states? Sure, but even then, a lot of the neighboring state girls didn't want what a lot of people here consider top of OR.
I'm from a neighboring state and I had two OR sororities and one NR that people here consider middle/bottom. I choose the NR house because I felt more at home there. It was, incidentally, the house I came in expecting to love, because in my state, it's popular, and I have lots of friends from HS in it at their schools.

And I say this as an OR in-stater.
I do like the change we see happening where there is less and less each year to say that certain houses are "way better" than other houses. Bottom line is all are roughly the same with the differences being in how a given pnm may fit in with the members and click with girls and such. Like to me the difference in house gap of a few percentage points does not make or break a house or define a house either way (as all work no party or all party no work), the difference in who wins stupid awards does not define or determine what a single pnm will experience herself. I do think far away OOS do have a little more challenge feeling a part of the core groups in the OR houses, or at least the most Southern of the OR houses. Y'all know who those are.

Good for you. Wish all PNMs would think for themselves and make decisions based on their own personal criteria rather than follow what the trolls on GR recommend and try to perpetuate as status quo.
