rush

When I went through rush, I came not knowing anything. I am in state and knew some girls but a most were vague acquaintances. I had good recs, a good reputation, good grades, and zero expectations. I never got on here and knew very little about any sorority.

Things went very well I suppose and I am really happy with my choice and the rush experience. I liked every single house and had fun - except being very hot and exhausted. I went in to meet new girls and find out where I fit. Some cuts I made were easier than others and I was only cut by one house.

This is meant to say that I hope you will go in and be open minded, not believe stuff on here but look at how you fit in each house. You do need a rec for most houses, and definitely for old row. Just try not to get caught up in names and others' opinions. It is where you fit. And even if they cut you, it was meant to be bc you wouldn't want to be somewhere that didn't want you wholeheartedly.
