There are currently multiple girls in various sororities here that have active YT channels. However, I assume you're talking about the Alpha Phi. In my opinion, her experience should be a wake up call to all sororities here that a girl with a large public platform doesn't necessarily equate to a top PNM. I want to preface this by saying I don't want to bring up any drama, she's doing her own thing now which is great, but she didn't represent the school, her sorority, and Southern Greek life well once she left. She's completely entitled to her opinions, however I don't believe that sharing them in such a negative light on her large public platform was the best thing to do.
Personally, I think that all houses should proceed with caution with girls who have any type of abnormally large platform, whether that be on Insta, YT, etc... The Alpha Phi incident easily happen again and could easily be even worse.
Also, I just want to say, I know a lot of girls, me included, don't want their personal sorority chapters to be exposed for monetary views. Lots of girls don't want their chapter to be exploited like that because for most girls sorority life is something very personal. So, in all, I think chapters should really listen to what their actives want when it comes to pledging girls with large public platforms in which they get paid to document their life...

Let's be honest... Most Old Row houses don't care about character when pledging girls. Almost all Old Row houses are comprised of mainly girls from certain areas within Alabama, and most of these girls have had some sort of connections prior to college... Also, I recall in the Alpha Phi's video that she stated she had full schedules all week long, meaning that it's more than likely multiple OR houses tried to keep her around as long as they could. That being said, stop acting like OR is better than this... OR houses more than often give a bid to an undeserving friend over a deserving OOS stranger. And OR houses are just as conscious about appearances as some other infamous houses here. You can keep saying how OR houses are more concerned about sisterhood than appearances, but we both know that's a lie.

Houses that only look at outward beauty make this kind of mistake. Old row and some of the new row houses look also at character and take better girls for their sisterhood.
