In the Greek Chic, for Philanthropy under the DON'T they have a girl wearing a skirt. I thought skirts were ok?

Stick with shorts. In a lot of houses you will be sitting on the ground

You'll be sitting on the floor in all houses, so a skirt isn't really practical. Lots of girls wear just plain chino shorts or patterned flowy ones. If Panhellenic says not to wear something then I'd listen to them lol.

Rule of thumb in Alabama, especially during rush: conformity is good and if you're the only one doing something that's usually a bad thing.
(I'm from the west coast and it took me a long time to get this)

Seriously, just wear shorts. You will be so glad you did. It's important that you wear what the guidelines say. Like "S" said, conformity is good.

Never seen a single pnm wear a skirt for it. Very casual T-shirt , a skirt would look so weird with it.
