How often do PNMs skip parties they're scheduled for? And does it hurt them?

Don't skip any parties or you could be dropped from recruitment if you do. You have to attend all parties that you are invited to.

A PNM will not automatically be dropped from recruitment if she skips a party. Should she skip any of the parties - NO, but don't lie and try to intimidate PNMs!
@OP - if a PNM does skip a party though, she is not guaranteed a bid and word will spread to other houses which will affect her.

No one is trying to intimidate anyone! The response was that it COULD lead to being dropped which is in fact true. To the op don't skip parties and if you want a factual answer with no questions or what ifs ask your rho chi.

This is the same as the rush romper post.

Can you skip a party/Can you wear a romper? YES

If you skip a party/wear a romper and get dropped from rush, will you be sad? THEN DON'T DO EITHER.

A really pretty girl in my rho chi was from mountain brook, her favorite houses were kappa, alpha chi, and kd. She skipped a DZ party and a Theta party, maybe a few others idk. She ended up in tri delt.

literally the only way you can skip a party and not potentially ruin some of your chances is if you have bama bound or crimsonette practice and your rho chis/panhellenic do special things to make it work for you. if you're thinking about skipping- don't. it will hurt you.

Important to make the distinction between skipping parties and having a conflict. If you have a conflict and let your rho chi know IN ADVANCE they can make it work.

I've known girls in the past to be dropped completely for skipping parties. I also heard about a girl deciding she was unhappy with her schedule and try to go back to a house that had cut her, which made everyone's life difficult. Granted, this was a few years ago, but still deserves to be said - GO TO WHERE YOUR SCHEDULE TELLS YOU!!!
