Again, it depends. For Southerners, it really depends on the area their from, because every house has their "target" zip code. For Northerners, the party girls like ZTA and APhi, the smart girls like ADPi and PBP. But all PNMs have different opinions for every house... Also PNMs don't really fight for houses in the same sense that houses fight for PNMs... All the PNMs are doing is hoping they don't get dropped from their favs.

I'm not going to deny that a lot of Northerners like a lot of OR houses, but the thing is OR is very antiquated and most houses will take a Southern girl with connections but a bad resume over a Northern girl with no connections and an amazing resume... And that's how it is for all OR houses except AXO and PM. That being said, a lot of Northerners are dropped right after IWTs so they can't develop a real liking for the houses and their "fight" for them is cut short.

• PBP / Alpha Phi / ZTA / Phi Mu: typically girls that get dropped by ZTA, are mad because they like ZTA more than ZTA, Phi Mu and PBP are like the smart girl houses, but they still are very social houses.
• XO, Alpha Gam, AXO: super / semi religious girls that were the student body president's, typically a lot of girls who want to rush these houses and end up getting dropped by one
• Tri Delt / KKG / KD: a lot of similar girls rush these houses, you'll see a lot girls with these three houses on pref day

I'm so sick of people saying Phi Mu cross-rushes with APhi/ZTA/etc. They don't. They cross rush with other old row houses far more. Southern pageant girls and northern party girls might both wear full faces of makeup to class but they come from entirely different cultures, don't get them confused.

^ agree! PM cross rushes way more with XO, AXO, etc., than they do with ZTA or APhi.
