No. The thing about Zeta is that they seem extremely exclusive but they're not... And the whole dirty rushing incident only perpetuated this idea. The truth is, Zeta is not a "top" house during rush. They lose a lot of their main targets to other houses, such as Phi Mu, Pi Phi, Kappa, and even Alpha Phi. And I'm not saying all these house cross rush, I'm saying that Zeta loses their big targets to them... Why? Because they lack a certain appeal. Yes, they 100% get a lot of good looking PNMs. But appearances only show the surface. When you look at grades or involvement you see that Zeta is on the lower half of the scale because many of their girls prioritize being social over academics, involvement, etc. And that's why they tend to lose their big targets. Really strong PNMs want to be a part of a house that's not just known for partying. That being said, Zeta relies heavily on dirty rushing and creating a facade to push their top targets, who may be on the fence, to pledge Zeta. So, no you don't need to be dirty rushed by Zeta to get a bid, but a lot of PNMs are dirty rushed by them because of what I just explained.

Zeta is a house where if you have the look you can get a bid, if you don't it's a difficult house to get into. But if you have the look they want you don't really need a strong resume go back yourself up as long as you seem fun and social
