parents on bid day

Is it weird if your parents aren't there on bid day? I know that's a big thing here but does it make a difference if they are or aren't? I guess what I'm asking is if it's worth it for my parents to fly to UA for bid day really

Its no biggie if they aren't!! You'll only see them for a little bit to take a couple of pictures with/of you outside the house and they're invited inside for snacks, but you'll be with your bid day big too and everything's so crazy that parents leave pretty soon anyway. A ton of girl's parents don't come back, you'll be fine!!

Not a big deal at all. Mine weren't there and those whose parents were only got to see them for a very short time. Not worth a flight!

Unless your mom is an XYZ who just loves her sorority, and you end up going XYZ, there probably isn't a huge reason to have them be there if it involves a flight

Even then, you'll spend more time with your new sisters than you will your parents!
