poll: bottom house most likely to move up?

Many OOS PNMs including myself don't consider APhi a bottom house. Friendly to the PNMs, beautiful house, beautiful girls, social, popular with the guys, and attainable eboard positions that aren't reserved for in-state girls with ~connections~. But you feel free to keep telling yourself and this anonymous forum that they're bottom tier if it helps you sleep at night.

Alpha Phi being friendly to PNMs is the funniest thing I've heard in a long time.

the bottom tier usually rotates based on housing situation. keeping this in mind, i think its unlikely for Gamma Phi to keep trending upward. It seems as if with their house they've picked up a lot of girls that would have otherwise gone some of the other houses listed. That being said, once the other chapters like AOII and DZ get their new houses I think they're gonna have trouble hanging onto those PNMS since they're not the only one with a fancy house.

I think AOPi has room to catch back up with gpb once they are in their new house (although their girls aren't very similar), but i think DZ has fallen too far behind and it's going to take a while to phase out their weird girls.
Theta is basically just screwed because they get a new house last

Honestly I'd choose aopi and dz over gphi and theta any day, nice house or not. Gphi has a bad rep on campus still even if people aren't willing to admit it and I don't see them improving like everyone says they have. They're typically really nice girls... just not for me

You're the only one who doesn't see them trending upwards. They've gotten much stronger because they're getting high quality OOS. Girls who DGAF about old row or Alabama bs.

You're not the only person @maybe I don't see GPhi trending up either. dz and AOPi are gonna pick up when their houses are finished. Puts them on more of a level playing field with the houses they cross rush with. It will make a difference

I see both these houses moving up tbh. Their recent pledge classes have been more and more outgoing and their starting to break out of their shell (at least AOII for sure). The OOS girls that their getting don't seem to care much about who's top and bottom tier. Idk its possibly I think that bc I'm older now and don't go out as much but some of these girls are wild. Haha

AOPi girls are usually sweet and quiet. I've seen them described as a slice of white bread before and I think that's a great description. I always feel like they're girls who wanted AGD or ADPi but didn't make the cut.
GPB is more of a mix of girls but the ones I know are loud party girls, way more high energy than AOPi and usually don't care as much what people think of them

I am from OOS and two other girls from my area have gone to bama, 1 before me and 1 after. Before me was a outgoing, loud personality with a rep for being a hard partier and she went GPB. The other was a really quiet Christian girl who is super into younglife and going to school 10 hours away was basically the most adventurous thing she'd ever done.
obviously totally anecdotal but X's description rings SUPER true to me.

Gphi still has a big group of girls who are the normal, studious type but you don't notice very much because they're overshadowed by the partiers for obvious reasons. My freshman year roommate is one of those. I know she loves the house but does resent the wild OOS party girl image a little bit.
Bottom houses are interesting-- it's always some mix of far OOS party girls, and girls from closer in who either didn't have connections or are less attractive/shy but have great grades, involvement, etc. Some houses have more of one than the other.

^^ DG, GPB and AOII, then DZ and Theta could go either way. Theta I think had a better pc17, but DZ will be in their new house first. Definitely a lot of pressure there for both of them to get great pledge classes of cohesive girls but IMO it could happen for either house.
