I hate going into houses and feeling awkward. Rush was the worst in some houses where the girls swarmed around certain pnms (some who I know and are not swarm worthy lol) while the rest of us are just sitting there.
Some seat you in awkward spots and barely talk to you. it is so rude and I try hard to remember this when pnms come through my house.
The rudest: KD and Phi Mu. Aphi is pretty rude too.
If they want you, they are sweet sweet sweet. But it's how you treat people when no one is looking that speaks volumes. I don't want to be in a place that has tiers within its membership or makes girls feel bad. And thankfully, I am not.

At KD someone asked me what brand my dress from and I told her i got it from TJMaxx for like 7 bucks, because normally girls where I'm like to congratulate other girls about getting cute clothes for cheap. I thought that we were having a down to earth convo lol but after that she was so uninterested and walked me out first of the entire party. I was pretty embarrassed.

I went through recruitment last summer. I didn't see any of this. If anything...if they really want you, they discreetly take you into another room for a quiet chat. I had this happen to me in a couple of houses - by their President. I didn't find ANY houses rude.
