Some of These girls don't know how to treat people bc they are not nice people in general. They don't care.

That is exactly how it is. So, if you don't have any connections, it is very important that you keep your options open, be outgoing and notice how they are treat you and the others around you. Bc that is how it will always be.

Do this and you will find the right place for you.

Before I say anything, I want to be clear that I'm not in KD, PM, or AP. I went through rush last year and even though PM and AP dropped me after IWT and KD dropped me after philanthropy, I didn't encounter any rude actives. I had great conversations with all of them and actually ranked all these houses high after IWT/Philanthropy. In my opinion, I don't think these houses are rude. Maybe "fake" would be a better word.

You ranked them high and they dropped you. Good they were not outwardly Rude but the post was saying it's the unsaid things... like how they swarm others, the surface talk, the positioning. You can tell. So pnms if you get this, you will be a filler or dropped. Choose wisely.

- Of all the houses, KD felt the most awkward. Very standoffish, the conversation was very forced, and they were blasting rap music.

- The conversation in PM was very plain. It didn't feel exciting and the girl was nice but I could tell she wasn't interested. It was fun to tour the house, but it didn't help with the conversation at all. I remember feeling weird because the girls in front and behind us were taking the entire time but the active I was with wasn't really talking except when giving directions and stuff.

- The girls I spoke to in APhi were fine. The dropped me right after IWTs and I knew I was going to be dropped bc I guess you can say I didn't fit their "image." But I was surprised at how nice the conversation was. I think houses like APhi and ZTA do well with conversations because a lot of their girls are extremely social.

...In general, some houses made me feel extremely welcomed and some houses didn't. There were some houses that I got dropped from right after IWTs that made me feel amazing, while other houses were very standoffish. I'm now in a house that on this site is known for being "welcoming" and I think it's a good fit for me... I'm proud of my house and the character of the girls in it.

It's not mean. It's an accurate description of some houses and the way they treat you. Maybe fake is a better word but it's worse than rude... because swarming someone and dropping them is worse than ignoring. Both are the pits.

OOS, no connections and I had alpha phi and KD at pref, no girls were ever rude to me and I didn't feel awkward or uncomfortable..... someone has an axe to grind with these houses

people left with alpha phi and kd at pref are fillers. That does not mean you are not worthy of them but probably too worthy. I am assuming you went KD for the name. I can promise you that i know how this works.
